The Manitoba Morgan Horse Club (MMHC) has a proud history dating back to 1970. After a period of inactivity, the club was successfully reorganized in 2010 with a renewed commitment to celebrating, promoting, and supporting the Morgan horse in Manitoba.

Since its reorganization, MMHC has brought Morgan owners, breeders, riders, drivers, and enthusiasts together through a wide variety of activities. Over the years, members have participated in obstacle course demonstrations, driving events, clinics, gymkhana, trail riding, Western dressage, cowboy dressage, horse shows, educational opportunities, and many other equine activities that showcase the Morgan horse’s exceptional versatility.

MMHC has also been proud to host the Canadian Morgan Horse Association (CMHA) Annual General Meeting and Convention historically and most recently in 2012, 2019 and 2025, welcoming Morgan enthusiasts from across Canada to Manitoba.

Today, the Manitoba Morgan Horse Club continues to promote the Morgan breed while encouraging fellowship, education, participation, and opportunities for Morgan enthusiasts of all ages and disciplines.

The Manitoba Morgan Horse Club is proud to be an affiliate club of the Canadian Morgan Horse Association and to be part of the Morgan horse community across Canada.
